Do You Need iQ? - What Does It Do?

If you schedule work with a wipe on - wipe off whiteboard, post it pads and maybe an excel spreadsheet, then probably yes. If you also have overflowing filing cabinets and stacks of jobsheets awaiting invoicing, then its more than a maybe.

Planning Whiteboard

The core of the software is an electronic whiteboard that 'drag&drops' jobs onto available operatives. It provides historical reference and future planning, with integration to our jobsheet storage module - so you can electronically file paper copies.

Jobsheet Reconcile and Storage

A signed off jobsheet is usually required as proof to back up any invoice. iQ enables simple storage of pdf sheets logged against the job that was allocated within the Whiteboard. There are included functions to enable values and comments to be attached to each sheet as it comes in and easily convert these into invoices.

Invoicing and Valuations

Invoices are pre-populated with the values and coments added at job reconciliation. These can be updated and included within the client invoice which is saved as a PDF file within IQ's document store. . Invoices values are posted to sageL50 and iQ's own costing database to show profit against a site's costs.

Electronic Document Store

All letters, faxes and emails can be stored within a logical and easily accessible correspondence tree. They are logged against the relevant Company, the Contact and the Site it refers to.

Quotation Builder

Build quotes from standard building blocks of template functionality using a wizard process. iQ's quotebuilder generates a formatted quote, emails it and stores it in the document store.

The store is searchable for outstanding qoutes that require chased and reports are available to see exactly where your comapny stands in terms of quotation success and the profit generated by them.

Site Costs

Every site has a cost associated with it, incurred to carry out the work there. iQ's Costs module enables you to add the cost of hire plant, materials, parking charges and other ancillary costs against that site to enable a true picture of doing business with that client on their sites.

The whiteboard and job reconciliation modules add your internal labour and associated costs automatically to that site after the jobsheet is received.

Reports

You might think a job made you a packet, but actually you just did ok - because the site information is spread across 3 desks, a briefcase and the 'filing' system.

All the data is the iQ system is presented as easily viewed live reports to remove the headache and guesswork from finding the 'holes in your bucket'.
